Join Chef and Food Creative Sarah Cole of Abadir’s for the very first edition of House Specials—a rotating chef series of food gatherings hosted at Okra House.

This one’s all about late summer flavor: bold, bright, a little unexpected. We’re crafting a simple, yet bold straightforward menu that highlights the abundance of the season. Think lentils with labneh and herbs, juicy melon with cucumbers and oils, a dip that’s also a salad. Crisp things, creamy things, chilled things and everything in between.

It’s more than a class, and not just a dinner. This is a behind-the-scenes seat at the kitchen table where you’ll hear the sizzle, smell the spices, and taste along the way. Ask questions if you want, or just soak it in. Then we gather for a slow, vibrant meal meant to be shared.
